Hello all! I’m brand new to blogging, so bear with me! I have a 2011 LR4 with 263,000 miles on her…..yes you read that right! She’s running great, but my timing chain is more than likely on it’s last legs. The front is getting a bit noisy! Should I get e new timing chain installed (at the price of $8000-$13,000) or just call it quits and get a new vehicle? That’s a lot of money to spend on an old vehicle, and she really needs a new paint job :)

Unless I am mistaken you can get it cheaper than $8k as long as it hasn't tore anything up yet, you may even get a used engine for less. But with that said, if you like it, fix it. If you feel it is time to put it out to pasture, that is always an option.
