you can download installation guide for almost all accessories from landrover.com
Go to http://www.landrover.com/us/en/lr/owners/handbooks-and-manuals/handbooks-and-manuals/ and click download and follow the instruction.
Basically, the rail replaces the portion of plastic rail. You have to saw off most part of plastic rail per instruction. I did mine not to long ago on 2010 LR4. Took me an hour total.

Did order the rail- did not know the lrf doesn't come with it .
My dealer wanted $2000 +335 to install.
I bought it on the net for $380
looks like a cut and dry install.

$2000 for what? the whole expedition roof rack?
It's free to download owners manual and accessory installation manuals.
If it's asking you to pay for it, you are in a wrong section where you pay for subscription and download factory workshop manuals, technical bulletins etc.
