I want to install some new running board side steps on my 2005 LR3 can anyone tell me if there are already pre drilled holes for this or do I need to get it done at a body shop or some sorts?

The re are factory mount points on the vehicle, but you must cut holes in the plastic piece that runs along the sill of the truck. The horrible instructions that come with them show where. I actually removed mine a couple of years ago and put on the High Country Sliders, as my running boards were getting pretty wrecked from offroad use. The High Country sliders required a complete removal of the plastic moulding along the sill, but don't need it with the sliders. However, with the sliders, they stick out enough that they make great side steps, too.
