I have one of the petrol V6 LR3s and was wondering which steering pump was used. The same as the petrol V8 or the Ford unit.
Also, if the same as the petrol V8 is this the same or did they switch pumps from the Discovery 2?
Reason is I am thinking of going with a hydraulic winch and hoping some of the fittings are the same. Mile Marker lists Land Rover with its 75 series winch pump fittings but when questioned that was for a Disco 2 and they did not know if the the D3 nee LR3 had changed types or not.
