Any one can help me I have a big problem with my 1997 discovery 3.9 V8
Every 6 to 8 months I have to change the hoses coming out from the steering oil countaner all the way to the steering box.
What can I do

Why do you have to change them? Are they deteriorating? Leaking? Dealer keeps telling you they need changed? (You gotta watch out for that one!)

Two questions, what type of hose clamp are you using? And Are you buying generic hoses or are you using factory style or oil resistant hoses?

i am useing te factory style hose's and i fix the car at the delar

Since they are leaking, can you tell if they are leaking from the clamp area or just leaking through the hose.... if the clamps I would just replace the clamps. If through the hose, I would drive down to your local Napa and get some good oil resistant hose 5/8 inch inside diameter and some clamps and change them yourself.... I did mine for under $10 including more Transmission fluid for the power steering. (yes the Land Rover takes Transmission fluid in the power Steering).

You could also try adding some Lucas Transmission fix... you should be able to find this at Napa as well.
