Sunroof service

I just bought a beautiful but second-hand 2001 Discovery. The sunroof seems noisy but I have nothing to compare it to. Can I service it myself - as in spray or grease the track and the motor? If so, could you please tell me how to do that?

You can spray grease on the tracks, but the odds are the runners (little wheels) are getting worn out... not cheap to replace, you have to buy they whole assymbly.

My Front sunroof vibrates and also makes excessive noises (rattles etc) when open however my rear sunroof is relatively quite i have spoken to other owners and this appears common ?

Yep, the front gets used more.... so the little bushings wear out faster. $120 should get you all the parts you need to change out the little bushings. (why don't they just sell those little things)
