Went shopping with a friend for a 2010-2013 RRS recently and found out some interesting information. He was torn between the NAV8 and SCV8. I spoke to a good friend of mine who is a tech of 20+ years at LR and when asked which one is better off-road he stated the SCV8 and NAV8 RRS are essentially the same once put into low gear and into a specific terrain response mode. The TR limits the amount of torque that can be put down to the wheels... So really the extra HP/Torque can only be utilized when "special programs" is turned off. I found that pretty damn interesting, wonder if anyone else can confirm this. Thanks
