hi i had posted here earlier about my 04 disco and finally got the motor stripped out and found out that the last cam bearing had walked off the seat and ended up in the oil pan which we found at the begining just could figure out wat it was
so basically there was no bearing supportin the cam and oil was just being dumped back in the pan now we found a bit of scaring in the bearing seat and i know that there is 10% chance that the machine shop will be able to help me out but if not i was wondering which is the best place to find a 4.6 short block for my car coz the land rover dealership gave me a quote of 8000 $ the rover parts website has on for 4495 $ and i m not willing to spend that kind of money found a reman bare block for 400 $ with 90 days warrenty but my not sure weather to get it or no so if anyone knows where to find one for a decent cost and a trust worthy seller i would deeply appreciate it
