Greetings my fellow Land Rovers:

I own a 1996 Discovery S7 and want to know if it is legal to install a baby car seat (3 yrs old) or an infant seat (less than 1 yr old) on either of my 2 jumper seats on the 3rd row. These seats are the ones that face each other sideways.

If the answer is no, is there a way to replace these with the new forward-facing LR3 third row seats?

Thank you

The answer is yes you can, but why would you want to.... I would not feel safe with my child in one of the back jump seats at that age.

and No you can't upgrade to the forward facing seats... not without so serious modifications, but anything is possible if you try hard enough.

I would have to agree with Joey. I wouldnt put my children in that kind of situation. Those jump seats arent very sturdy. Please think twice about that one
