For what its worth, the Coopers have little nubs in them where you can fit studs into the treads for extreme snow and ice use. I've never seen a studded tire on the street, have no idea if its legal, what it would drive like, etc...but it can be done.

Okay,
Just recieved some rud 4x4 chains for my 255/55/R19s. No lie, it looks like one mighty tight fit with very little clearance.

Has anyone had problems or heard of actual problems with this chain on 19's?

Dont want to bump an old thread but wanted to give my review of the Goodyear Silent Armors. Got them put on the stocker 18s and they are great. I have gotten to drive them in the rain and snow and they performed awesome. Have not had them in deep snow yet but I have no doubt they will perform great. They are quiet and handle very well for an AT tire. All in all I highly recommend! I am glad I talked myself into these.
