Turn Signal Fuse Blows

Gotta simple one (?)...My 2002 Disco II keeps blowing the 15A turn signal fuse...replced with a new one two times and tehy keep blowing...

I just replaced my DS turn lens assembly a few weeks back since the original one had a small hole and seemed to always be filled with water...replcement came with its own socket connector and bulb for both turn signal and parking light...anyway, the replacement worked fine until this morning and all turn signal/hazard lights are out with the blown fuse.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a short to me... I would check all connectors and sockets.

Well I looked at the socket and connector and it looked OK, but when I took out the bulb, the center contact clip popped right out. Apparently it broke off and was shorting the bulb socket. I have another spare socket at home and I will replace it. I am just surprised that this metal contact clip broke, as it is only two weeks old...Oh well, at least it wasn't anything really critical.
