Update: My recent (and ongoing: this AM the car was down at the rear) suspension failure may be due to a failed rear height sensor. The dealer has ordered one, and meanwhile I hobble everywhere with frequent failures.

Meanwhile LR corporate are looking for a replacement car for me - but since they have none in Canada, I am not holding my breath.

the argument that there are no replacements in Canada rings hollow. If you were a new customer wanting to buy one, I am sure it would materialize.

Yes.. well, I await developments with bated breath... though it now seems to be a height sensor. But I have heard so many "we have it, it is x y z" things.

As an engineer I know how complex these intermittent faults can be. I sympathise with LR - but still, do not want to worry about that PING! PING! all the time while driving. I hate being difficult but I feel I deserve a reliable car for the money...
