URGENT HELP

Hi LR4 world
My local mechanic is finishing up my 2010 LR4 coolant system update. New front/rear crossovers, water pump etc
My car has the older style Y hose from the water pump ****** to the expansion tank part LR012636
I purchased the upgraded hose from the thermostat to the water pump.
My mechanic is clueless, how to install this “upgrade” and bypass the older style hose
I puchased the upgraded two piece kit from Atlantic British yesterday.

Does anyone please know the how to install the upgrade and bypass/close off the older style?
Car has been sitting in the shop for a month and he and I want this done asap.

Buy the parts you need from the mechanic. It will cost a little extra because they charge a percentage of the part or a flat rate but with that you get their backing if anything goes wrong (assuming they act with integrity). Those benefits could be handling incorrect parts and/or defective parts at no extra cost.
