Recently, my 2002 Land Rover Range rover's vehicle alarm started going off when I unlocked the door with the key and opened the driver's door. After three days of this, we got the battery replaced. Seemed like problem was solved. The battery was not holding a charge (evident from other issues), and a new battery fixed it. Two weeks later, the alarm is doing it again out of nowhere. Help?

Welcome to the forum. Alarm issues are normal if the system is looking for the key fob after a battery change or other odditys. Try locking and unlocking drivers door slowly with the key 4 times in a row. this may clear the issue.

Might want to go to your local parts store and have them verify what your charging voltage which has to be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
If it is your alternator, do not buy one of their rebuilt, get back to us and we can show you where to buy a good one.
