Well oem stabilizer is back on. I used the new bushings from the bilstien. The oem seems to be exactly like the truck was before this whole fiasco started. So far no death wobble and seems ok....

I know when I went to change mine, Bill at Great Basin Rovers recommended not going with the Bilstein as the steering stabilizer and I didn't even ask why... maybe this is why?

I will say that if you have other issues, the stabilizer may have just let you know they are there.

Hi Matt;

You are certain a caliper is not grabbing? Any extra heat coming off your rims when you stop and check? Remember, a caliper in need of servicing can grab intermittently (most of the time though they just grab and heat things up, power goes down along with gas mileage - not to mention your brake pads and, eventually, warped rotors - which can all conspire for a fairly nasty wobble)

Even with no damper installed you shouldn't have any "death wobble". If you have light swivel preload (one of the things that causes wobble) adding a damper to stop it is only masking the symptoms. Fix the problem.

antichrist-
first.... Its xmas time. Money is real short. Nobody is buying health insurance right now... Means I don't get paid too much.
Anyhow,
took rover to my tech, for a diagnosis... Front end is 100 percent solid. Turns out my front wheel bearings were real loose, 1" play in the wheels. I took the rover to the tech btw because the wobble came back. So far the wobble is gone... But he did tell me after fixing the bearings that I need 4 shocks.... Mine are done... Don't know if the shocks relate to wobble?

Well guys I have a gut feeling... Fri after xmas time I have a 1:30 appointment with Land Rover dealer to inspect my pin preload. 110 after tax just to tell me if its messed up, and to tell me how much to correct it if so... So hopefully I have enough $ to fix it....
