Steering Damper for disco 1

A steering damper that fits a 96 disco will fit a 97 as well, right?

Sounds like someone thought you have a defender, not a discovery.

Yea they said they had the parts for a defender and they had 90/110/130. I was thinking it might be 110, but I checked the book and it said 100. I found the part number I needed on my own, so I don't know what that guy was even talking about lol.

PS A 96 steering damper fits a 97 disco right? I think they're exactly the same.

Thanks Joey. Ordered it today actually. Messed up and paid twice for it on accident though lol. Hopefully this will take care of some of that wheel wobble on my car.

Keep in mind that, while the dampener will stop any wobble you have, it's only covering up the symptom of something else. My guess is that you have bad bushings on at least your panhard rod.

The bushings would cause that? The tire shop said it was the bearings needing to be repacked.

Could also be a swivel preload.
