worn brake pads message

I changed the brake pads of my 2011 lr4, after installing the new brake pads, there is a message, worn brake pads. How could I reset it to delete this message. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks, Pete Beldia

I'm guessing you damaged the brake pad sensor or reinstalled it incorrectly.

Going to go with this too.

Not sure about the front one, but the rear brake pad sensor is on the passenger side. It clips directly into the inside brake pad. They're pretty fragile after getting heat cycled a ton of times. $15ish for new ones on amazon.

I’m 99% sure the front is on the left inner pad as well.

The connection to the vehicle is just behind the fender liner.
