Roof glass.....damn.
Our 08 showed up with a crack on the drivers side rear section from the factory. It looks like someone over torqued a bolt. I don't recall the exact price, but 900 bucks sticks in my head. Covered of course by Land Rover, took a couple of weeks to get the glass panel shipped too. -

Would you buy another one?

Buy a proper jack; better yet two jacks. I rotate my tires with ease every 6-8k miles. -

This is far from the case. The stopping distances for the LR3 are quite amazing. If you are having problems with brake fade or rotor warping the driver is the cause, not the vehicle. -

If you have 27k on the goodyears they are due for replacement. They may be barely legal in terms of tread depth, but they were shitty tires from the start and do not age well. My wifes 08 HSE on the Goodyears is downright dangerous at 26k miles in the snow. I rotated the tires every 8k miles... -

Driver door seal deterioration
Had the same issue after the Rover was in for repair of a leaky sunroof. The tech it appears did not fully seat the seal and after a couple months it was ruined. Replaced under warranty the next time we had the oil changed....
