Drove home to Irvine today no problems. Check Engine Light actually was off today when I started it. My guess at this point is that there was just some sand somewhere messing something up. I'll have them read the code next time if possible. -

The Rover Specialties sliders are the way to go. I "use" the frame to sill protection 5 times for every 1 time I need the slider part that the competitive products offer. -

Mine isn't really angled. It's about a 1inch tall piece that is about 12" x 8". It's got a couple bolt holes on it that I assumed was for bolting it to the transfer case plate you have from them. -

1791 Navigation Hack and NEW 2008 Map Disc
I just installed the hacked 2008 disc. An unexpected surprise, it feels 3x faster than the 2004 disc I had in there before. There is almost no delay between screens now. I also have my neighborhood on the map finally so that's good :-) -
