Tried to start my freelander 04 today, but couldn't. instead of a normal turn-over, I hear a wheezing noise... starter is engaging, belt turns a little, but no normal turning over of the engine, just the wheezing noise that faintly resembles engine turn-over.. Is it the starter? Don't want to replace the starter only to find out it's something else.
"Check Engine Soon" light is on.
