just upgraded to AVON Tech ST 265/60SR18 114S M+S tyres.
needless to say, the ride and handling has improved - which was expected since i'd been driving on racing slicks (Goodyear Wranglers after 35000 miles can pass off as racing slicks) for the past few months.
they look real good for now! we'll see how the tyres hold up in the long run.
