Rear Seat - Heat and AC

My LR3 '05 SE V8 has the rear seat climate package, i know there is a little fan in the drivers side rear fender but where does that get the heat and cool air from, does it come from the same heater core and AC compressor as the front system or is there an additional heater and AC in the back for the rear passengers?

The R-134 port sticker under the hood indicates high and low pressure ports in the engine bay and in the rear of the vechicle so I would assume there is a second hvac system for the back seats.

It gets heat/cold from the main system; however, it is sent back to an additional fan in the back. There is no A/C compressor nor heater core in the back. It is taken from the front components.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I wasn't sure if running the rear HVAC would use more fuel or if they would help cool/heat the interior quicker because it was its own independent system.
