Thanks I found this thing called boostaroo, it looks pretty promising and it's cheaper than the sound shocker thing so I'll give it a try and let everyone know how it is

The boostaroo did an ok job but decided after a week I needed more. I drive speeds of 75mph with windows down and like it loud and bass as well.

I'll have to look at some of my old posts but I bought a booster box thats mounted behin the center dash that amplifies it tremendously! You will also need a ground loop isolator as well when using various amplifiers.

That's one of the advantages that Sound Shocker has. +20dB of gain(10x) and it's transformer isolated. Of course you can't drive headphones with it like you can with regular amps but then it doesn't need any external power or batteries. Everything's a trade-off. I know I've seen Boostaroo in my local Radio Shack store and they do put them on sale from time to time but I actually haven't heard one.

Is there a write up on how to tear you center consul apart in order to work on the AUX input? Further more I need to change the OEM AUX input because one day I had my iPhone plugged into it and someone must have stepped on the cord or something so it messed up my AUX input. Sound is only coming out the right half of my car, so i need to rebuild this in the first place and will throw in a booster in the mean time..

Yeah I used to have the fake wood... there was nothing real looking about it. I liked that carbon fiber. Gave it an edge.

Anyone know if there's an xm or Sirius direct connect module available for the LR3.
