I just paid $37 shipped for a set of rear pads, + another 12 or so for the sensor (not OEM, will see how it goes)
Not going to bother with rotors as they were replaced with the last set of pads.
I got about 20,000 miles out of the rear pads. Fronts still have plenty of material left.
I wouldn’t measure brake pad life in time.. it’s purely a function of mileage.
I’ve had this car for about a year. So I got half your time but I may have driven more.

I just checked our records and the last time was performed a rotor/pad job was Aug. 2017. We just replaced the pads this weekend. The rotors were good. Two years of daily driving for work, school, etc. seems fair.
