@SkyTree thank you for those tips! I have 3 rigs im tracking down more info on right now. Two browns, a green and a gunmetal. They all have decent carfax's.

Curious with carvana, what year and miles did you snag?

We limited our search to 2010-13 LR4 model years since we specifically wanted the 5.0L V8, though Carvana sells many later models and years also (RR, RRS, Evoque, D5, SCV6 LR4, Discovery Sport, etc).

Through them, we purchased a 2011 LR4 HSE Lux with 69K miles (Santorini Black/Almond), extensive and detailed California/Arizona JLR dealership maintenance history, no accidents, zero rust, brand new tires, immaculate interior, suspension and undercarriage look virtually new, and so forth. It definitely lived it's former life on smooth, paved city streets, and is a great truck, truly. Now it's living and loving life on our horse ranch out in the Mojave high desert countryside.

Minor issues we had post-purchase:
We had an issue with the windshield being installed incorrectly and with the wrong size/type (we have the Climate Package with Heated Windshield, but Safelite had put in a non-heated windshield and did it pretty poorly, to boot). Since Carvana had hired Safelite to replace the windshield prior to selling the LR4, they took responsibility, and we took it to our dealership (JLR, Newport Beach) to have the proper Land Rover/Pilkington heated windshield installed under our Carvana Warranty. $0 Co-Pay for us.
(To be fair, the error was on Safelite, not Carvana, but Carvana remedied it for us regardless.)

Our dealership also found some slight oil seepage (not dripping) at the engine oil level sensor and the driver's side headlamp washer jet was leaking washer fluid when turned on. Both were covered and replaced under Carvana Warranty, no questions asked. $50 co-pay for us.

Our LR4 was also missing it's plastic battery cover and under hood insulation pad. Both were covered and OEM parts were purchased/installed by dealership under Carvana Warranty, as well.

Lastly, we had a fluke, uncommon problem with the steering wheel clockspring where it started making a plasticky clicking noise when turning the steering wheel, and ultimately the clockspring wiring failed after a couple days resulting in the steering controls/buttons not interfacing with the vehicle (non-functioning horn buttons, cruise control, audio controls, etc). Again, Carvana Warranty covered this without any issues. $50 co-pay for us.

It probably seems like we had a lot of issues, but all were very minor and are just small things that come with the age of the vehicle. We were also actively looking for any and all problems or potential problems since we knew the Carvana Warranty would cover them.

Other than the above items, we've had no issues. The drivetrain and engine are rock solid, ultra tight timing chain, 5-8K oil change intervals throughout it's life, gearbox shifts like a dream, low gears are all great, no EAS leaks or faults, EAS compressor is going strong, water pump/pipes and LCA's were replaced about 25K miles ago by JLR dealership (Chandler, AZ) under previous owner, brakes had just been done prior to our purchase, not a single error code or check light since we've had it.

Current:
Drives like a champ, engine purrs like a panther, super solid all the way around.

I'm methodically changing all the fluids currently.
I'm doing 0W-20 Amsoil Signature Series and AC Delco Professional oil filter every 5K miles.

About to swap the gearbox pan/filter with steel pan and refill with fresh ZF fluid. Just flushed Power Steering fluid. A few other fluids to flush as well, mostly just for my own peace of mind and fluid record system.

There are, of course, other excellent places to get a good LR4. In our case, it happened to be Carvana, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from them in the future if they maintain this level of quality and customer service. It was genuinely a pleasure and actually fun buying a vehicle from them, for my wife and I.

Hope this helps you in your search. :)

Thank you all for your comments, no words on how happy we are! Ive been visiting the grocery store every single day since we bought the LR4 hahahah :hahaha:....

@TrinidadLR4 , sorry my lack of knowledge but what do you mean with proper gasket?

A transmission service is also good idea, switching to the 2-piece pan/filter design(WITH THE PROPER GASKET!)
