Which EBC Break pads and rotors do i needs for a 2011 lr4. It seems i can't get a straight answer from anyone locally and searching online I dont know which ones to get. There is green stage 3 or green stage 5 etc. Just lost on getting the proper ones. If anyone can help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a '11 LR 5.0 v8 and you could piece your own setup. I would go with the following.

Front EBC Green stuff brake pads: DP62060
Rear EBC Green stuff brake pads: DP61542
Terrafirma front rotor: SDB000624CDG
Terrafirma rear rotor: SDB000646CDG

But, if you're after an EBC complete kit, https://www.roverparts.com/brakes/kits/8843EBC/.

I just did the pads a rotors on my '16. I went with the Powerstop Z36 set. They fit/look great - not sure how long they will last but will make a note to check on them after about 20k miles

I was speaking to some and they told me about powerstop. I’m not to familiar with them so would be curious on how well those would work out

42k miles. Wife's 16. Stock front pads around 1/4 left. I replaced rear pads with the Powerstop Z17 pads. Rotors were ok and reused. Follow their bead in procedure and all is good. Same breaking ability and far less dust. I run these on my Sierra with same results.

In my experience, rear pads go faster than the front pads, which is contrary to every other vehicle I've ever had. Everything is adjusted correctly and the brakes work great. I've read elsewhere that others have the same experience with the LR4.

Depends on how you brake and where you drive.

I put Akebono pads and Zimmerman rotors on at about 45k miles. I actually bought both front and rear setups but the rear pads still had a ton of life on them….so I just put the fronts on.

I had the brake warning light come on at now about 70k miles and thought “ok now it’s time for the rears”. After taking the wheels off and getting ready for the switch I noticed the rear rotors/pads are still great and still at about 50% life!!!! So I check my front…yup my front needed replaced!

So I experience very slow rear wear and about 20-25k miles on front Akebono pads. zimmerman rotors still look great and I’ve been very happy with the stopping and low dust of the Akebono’s so I just put new Akebono pads on the front and maybe in another 20-25k miles I’ll change both the front and rear.
