Anyone try starlink while mobile?

I put a Starlink Gen3 in the back of the LR4 and it worked when I was parked but once I started traveling the signal dropped. Gemini is telling me we have special glass that is blocking signal, I'm pretty sure if its nonsense. Has anyone tried using Starlink while driving around?

I hadn't seen that link. It specifically calls for Gen3 performance and I don't have that one, just Gen3 standard. But after further research mobile use should work on my plan, unlimited roaming through US/Canada.

I had the idea to instead of placing the dish on top of my gear stack facing out the back hatch, hang it right under the last sun roof so its nearly butted up against the glass and recessed into the headliner cutt-out. The rectangle glass and dish seem identical in size.

There are expensive ($300) mounts for external mount and what people are using, but if I need to lay down a big pass I don't want to worry about that thing flying off. I don't have a roof rack either so not sure about how that would work.

I have the Starling Mini and had the same issue trying to mount it inside the roof glass, as it has enough solar reflectivity to block the signal. I found a rather inexpensive suction cup mount case for under $50 on Amazon and it works great. I check it periodically when traveling to be sure it's still tightly attached and I regularly have full internet service at freeway speeds or anywhere I go. You need to have at least the 100gb roam plan to have service on the move. The standby plan does not provide any service while moving.
