Electric Window problem
Window problem I had the same problem with my 2001 DII.I ended up putting a small screw in the track to keep it from going down all the way down.There is a hole already in the track mechinisem that moves the window up and down.When you take the door panel off you can watch it as it goes down... -

Sitting on the bump stops It could be any number of things that control the rear air ride system.Fuse,bad air pump,hole in one of the air bags or a hole in one of the lines from the pump to the air bags.I had this problem several times and finally got tired of working on it and replaced the air... -

Tps The TPS seems to be the logical culprit,I would change it.BTW there are no sweet Discos,some are born evil but most just get that way with age.Kinda like people. -

Considering purchasing a 2003 Discovery and need help.

Thanks Thanks to all that replied to my post.It does seem to be more weather related than an issue to be resolved.Since it's my daughters Rover I might be able to talk her into getting rid of it or moving to a warmer climate so I don't have to here about the next problem of the week.LOL -

The old girl sits on the bump stops in cold weather but airs up fine when started.01 d2,116k.Also looking to trade it for an LR3.Is this a good move or just a move to a different set of PITA problems?Thanks for any help. -

2003 Tires
disco tires My daughter replaced the tires on her 01 D2 about 15000 miles ago.They put a set of Geolanders on it and so far there are no issues with them and they haven't started to show signs of wear as yet.I don't know anything about the 109h numbers on the tires I haven't checked to see what... -

Wont start again
wont start Mike,this is the second time that it has done this.It just clicks with the ignition key but wont turn over.The last time which was a couple of weeks ago it was a bad battery.It had some other things that needed to be fixed so it spent several days at the repair shop while we were on...
