    DIY Oil Change for LR4

He told me it was giving a reading of minimum while running. After I drove it home I pulled it up and it was saying maximum and I am pretty sure I pulled that up while running also.

    DIY Oil Change for LR4

Yeah he never let the engine cool off, just checked it while running so it was still saying low. It is a 2011, not the SCV6. He didn't seem to think it should hurt much but I'm a bit worried. Going to pull out 2 quarts in the morning, good thing his shop is just 2 miles from me.

    Oil leak on my 2011

Yeah she didn't like that much oil it seems. I'm getting restricted performance and exhaust valve, crankshaft and camshaft position faults and it's running horribly. Gonna take out like 1.5 quarts and clear the faults and hopefully all good.

    DIY Oil Change for LR4

My service guy just changed my oil and told me he put 10 quarts in because the computer was still telling him minimum. Way too much it seems? You mentioned 8. ?

    Oil leak on my 2011

My independent service guy thinks it's just thin oil that is causing it to drop as it's time for a change anyways. Going to go ahead and flush and change the oil to see if this remedies it. Anybody else have this issue, hadn't heard much at all about oil leaks on these.

    Rotors and pads

Hmm. Can you direct me to where that was the consensus? I did a quick search within the forums simply for rotors and I saw that several members speak highly of the EBC with greens. Claims of slower wear, less noise and dust. Can anyone with any negative experiences with these please chime in?

    Rotors and pads

Hey all, I was looking to order some EBC drilled/slotted rotors and some green stuff pads. Any recommendations on where to order them? Thanks! Ryan

    Roof Rack Conundrum

lol yeah i took my hi-jack down because of the rust. It started leaving a nasty orange trail down the side in only a few weeks. Worried it was gonna stain my vinyl wrap. I have my shovel held on with the hi-jack mount and just my ax alone on the other side. Considering an awning myself.

They are pretty beefy and sturdy so they are going to provide some protection, but after extended abuse they will most likely need to be replaced. I found a cheap used set so I'm not too concerned if I have to scrap them down the road.

If you have 8" of space above your existing rails you will be pretty tight but you should clear. I actually still have my rails on and I just went and measured and at the peak of the rack it raises up right at 7" above the rails.

Dark grey with aluminum accents and a black top... now that is good taste, lol! Just a bit more refined though.. and my stitching isn't near as dramatic. :-)
