Searching the phonebook
I have my HTC Thunderbolt (Android) paired with my 2010 LR4. The phonebook downloads as expected. However, searching the phonebook is a bit of a mystery. 2011 LR4 Voice Controls
I just had the 'update' installed. In fact, there is no software update. Rather, the service manager described it as an engineering setting that enabled the recognition. So, now I have a voice recognition system that is inept - same system that was on my 2007 RR is now active on my 2011 LR4...- Skywaterbanjo

Problems With the LR3
2006 LR3 HSE purchased August '07, 18,000 miles, absolutely flawless except for a rattling sun visor which was replaced. So flawless, in fact, that I traded my '04 Cayenne S on an '07 RR HSE. Love it!- Skywaterbanjo

I am able to pair, no problem. The Treo documentation says that the Treo 700wx is supposed to be a factory recommended phone, ie dowloading the phone book, using the LR3 voice command system, etc. My Voice Command feature is the one on the Treo, not the LR3. Has anyone successfully paired a TREO 700 wx (Verizon) with an LR3 or RR? The Verizon manual says the Land Rovers use the Nokia car kit and the phone is totally compatible via bluetooth to download phone book, voice dialing without having to load names, etc. Just curious.- Skywaterbanjo

Oops
Just wanted to let you know that, according to LR, you cannot replace the lens assembly by itself. While in for routine service, I told them to replace the lens and they replaced the entire rear lamp assembly ($270 !&^*%*) Moral: be careful of those things that jump out when you're backing up!!!!- Skywaterbanjo

Ipod integration
After reading the service bulletin for this device, I found out it does NOT support the 2, 4, or 8 gig nanos, which is what I use. Is that true? Bummer. Anyone tried the ipod integration with one of these nanos?- Skywaterbanjo

Oops
While backing up our relatively new LR3, a steel post jumped out and got right in the way of the right side tail light lens - CRACK. Anyone know how involved they are to replace and where I might find some instructions to replace it? Thanks- Skywaterbanjo

New '06 HSE
Well, after all the dealer hassles we had (see previous posts under LR3 vs. GX), we ended up picking up our new LR3 from a great dealer in Colorado Springs. We put 500 miles on it this weekend and noticed a few issues, mostly minor. Has anyone else had these problems? 1 (and most concerning)...- Skywaterbanjo
