Has anyone successfully paired a TREO 700 wx (Verizon) with an LR3 or RR? The Verizon manual says the Land Rovers use the Nokia car kit and the phone is totally compatible via bluetooth to download phone book, voice dialing without having to load names, etc.

Just curious.

I have paired my Treo 700wx with my LR3 over BT. My 700wx is from Sprint, but if it helps I changed my BT stack to the Verizon stack on my Treo. Works flawlessly...I assume yours isn't working....

I am able to pair, no problem.

The Treo documentation says that the Treo 700wx is supposed to be a factory recommended phone, ie dowloading the phone book, using the LR3 voice command system, etc.

My Voice Command feature is the one on the Treo, not the LR3.

Were you able to download the phone book into the LR3 from the phone over BT?

BTW, i have Verizon.

700w"x"

Land Rover lists the Treo 700w as factory approved. Curiousity, what is the difference with the "X"?

No I wasn't able to download the phone book via BT....has anyone else been able to? Do they make a cradle for the center console to sync up that way for the Treo?

The 'x' is the Verizon model with updates...more memory, etc.

Otherwise, supposedly identical.
