Hi. Relatively new to the forum and want to get more involved! its a great resource! I have a 2015 LR4 HSE that I drive about 5K miles per year. Lots of around town, highway road trips and some light trails/packed dirt/gravel.

I've done the routine yearly oil changes and filter changes but not much else. What should I be doing for a 3 year old with only 15K miles? Thanks! want to keep it in great shape for years to come. Love love the truck!

I'd suggest that you just keep on doing what you're doing. As long as you follow the maintenance interval schedule your LR4 should be fine. Keep the seats clean and condition the leather.

Enjoy the benefits of a new low mileage vehicle! Our 16 has 17k miles. Same deal oil/filter changes once per year. Change your cabin air filter if you have not.

Yeah that about covers it. The air filters don't get dirty fast as there are two so they are filtering 1/2 the air. Perhaps swap your tires to even out the wear.

Call me in a couple years when you want to sell. lol.

I also put few miles on my '13 LR4. I put 7.5k miles the first three years and 5k/year since (and going forward). All I've done so far (almost 32k miles) is oil changes, cabin filter, brake pads, and brake fluid flush (the last two items at 3 years and 22.5k miles).

So far, it has only been one oil change per year, although I did an extra oil change at 2k just to flush out anything undesirable when new.

Great! thanks for everyone's responses. Its been helpful to hear your experiences and work on your truck. There wasn't much information out there about it and the dealership has been happy just to do oil changes without offering more work to be done (which is mildly surprising!)

Check your spare tire pressure yearly. Also doesn't hurt to use the spare tire winch once in awhile to make sure it is operational.

Maybe cycle your suspension up and down every once in a while, and, if you have the HD package, maybe throw it into low range on a dirt road once a year or so.

Good points. I make the spare part of my yearly tire rotation, so I cycle it through and check the spare pressure. I use dedicated winter tires, so it's easy enough to do this when I install those.

And I do also raise/lower the car occasionally as well. Also, keep an eye on the battery as they tend to die early and could manifest its end-of-life is nearing with a series of electrical Gremlings. I happen to be running a nearly 5yo battery, but I have the new one in my garage and I will swap it this weekend. I hear 4 years is considered a long battery life on this vehicle.

Wow these are great points. I do go up and down on the air suspension. I did not think about the spare. Last time Mobilized it was 1.5 years ago to just test it out and make sure but it fell off my checklist.

Also agree about the battery....that’s something I always look for first on LR it European cars as causing all sorts of warnings...

Thanks everyone!

Would anyone recommend brake fluid flush which I think is recommended at 3 years but since I’m only at 15k miles , what do I think?
