I have a Mityvac. So, you simply attach it to the bleed nozzle and suck? What if there is air in the master cylinder? I assume you woul do this with the brake pedal fully depressed?
No you are overthinking it.
Step 1: Using the standard big hose simply suck old fluid out the master cylinder reservoir
Step 2: Refill master cylinder reservoir with fresh fluid
Step 3: Go to wheel of choice. Passenger rear is furthest.
Step 4: Source some vinyl tubing that creates good seal with bleed ****** and the second rubber mity vac junction thingy. You want a tight seal.
Step 4 Get a box end wrench (11m I recall) put over small hose and attach hose to bleed ******
Step 5 Pump up mity vac and then open ******. Pump mity vac once in awhile
What you will see is brake fluid coming out with a ton of bubbles. Don't worry this is just air getting around either the threads of the bleed ****** or the tubing and the ****** itself. Using a backlight (small flashlight) just watch the fluid colour change from darker to clear. Then you are done. Takes 3-4 minutes per wheel. Make sure you watch the fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir. As long as you keep this topped up there is no way for air to enter system.
This is essentially a speedier version of a gravity bleed (cracking the bleed ****** and letting gravity take it's course).
