If you still have it, put the original MC back on with the ABS fuse removed. Your initial issue was ABS not MC. -
2001 Overheating
Welcome to the forum. Yes sadly both the D1 and D2 are known for head gasket issues. Not crazy expensive, but needs to be done before you warp the heads or the block.- joey

The back side of the door handle will have a small removable section (should just pop off) then you insert the key to unlock, then you should be able to at least get into the vehicle. I don't recall the steps to reset the key fob sadly. But I am sure you can google that.- joey
