Hi all! I’m new here and newish to Land Rover. Bought the 06’ on a whim a couple years ago and love it! However- it’s overheating and want to drive it off a cliff. I am sooo lost and super frustrated. Replaced - thermostat housing (and thermostat twice) water pump (twice), overflow, multiple overflow caps, flushed radiator twice- flushed heater core, replaced t bleeder, nearly all hoses, and replaced fan clutch. Basically just radiator left. I have bled the hell out of it. Still overheating and when it does it builds a lot of pressure. When hot you can barely squeeze upper hose. Mostly overheats while idling after a short drive. I keep thinking air in the system but I have bled it 20 times it can’t be. What am I missing??!!!! I need help! Open to any advice or tests or whatever. There anyone else in salt lake that could look at it?

Sadly sounds like bad head gasket. There are some cheap tools to test for this, or take it to a shop.

Tested for bad head gasket. The blue colored concoction didn’t change colors at all. Did it multiple times. Still have to have air in the system I’m guessing?
