I don't think so. I have seen some posts on it before (just can't find them). Its a 2011 HSE so maybe it's a feature for some year/model. It only does it when the tail gate is open. I can load bikes on the bike rack, I can load stuff on top and nothing, but if I open the rear hatch the truck drops.
Hi Folks, anyone one how to disable to feature that drops the rear suspension when there is any weight on the tailgate?
I just replaced the hatch struts but at 6' 2" if the rear drops the hatch still hits me on the head.
Yes, I have an IID tool.
OK, they did work and now they do not. Have not tried them in the last year.
Before kid had a "device", the DVD was used. Then kid got a device. Now we would rather the kid watch DVD's then get lost in the web.
Looked under the seats. From what I can see I don't see any cut or loose wires.
Now...
Here is the IID info:
C1A20-64 (6C) Pressure increases too slowly when filling reservoir - Algorithm based failure - signal plausible failure.
I think its the original compressor and reservoir. I get the warning about once a month or if I change the height (its set an inch higher at Normal so I...
I only need to rent and pull a light trailer maybe once very few years (need to take something big to the cabin up North). I would love to have one of those overland trailers with the tent and bike racks - but that would be just for the looks of it.
I see $ all over the place and I only need to use a trailer once a year or less.
Anyone get one of these Teknsha 118275 for $30
Seems like the $130 British Atlantic has a few more parts, maybe pay more cry less.
So I'm 6' 3" and I have the truck raised almost 2" and my wife is just over 5'.
Don't need rock sliders and I think Running Boards are the wrong look for the truck.
Anyone know if there is an option for a step?
Something like this:
Hi Everyone,
Planning on adding some LED fog (Amber) lights to my 2011 LR4 HSE grill.
I would like to have them turn on when I use the factory fog/driving lights switch (button) on the left side of the dash. It has one button for the front and another for the rear.
The front turns on the two...
If someone has a guide on wiring up some lights for the grill mount, please post.
I see that someone mentioned wireless?
Has anyone spliced them into the factory fog lights so I can use the fog lights button on the bash.

We are at -11 today and my guess is my 2011 LR4 will not start. But most days when its cold (above negative) it will start.
I have a hard time even pushing in the brake pedal when it's that cold...
Anyone tired a Stant 10521 locking gas cap. I see folks using this on the Range Rover side?
Update. Got the gas cap from Stant. Fits like stock. No issues so far and its been a full tank of gas.
So I have a yakima sky box that mounts on the standard cross bars but now I have a Rhyno Rack pioneer platform mounted to the cross bars.
I know there are some kits to add a small section of cross bar onto the platform but that seems like I'm just stacking.
Wondering if anyone has tackled this...
So, being me - I have not done anything and it's starting every time even after sitting for a few days. We have been around freezing temps but not 15 below.
If "stop/start" is when the truck stops the engine when at a stop sign or in traffic, I don't have that on my 2011.
This popped up last night (last issue for 2019!).
"Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Fault"
I check and cleared faults with IID but I did not see a fault for the Tire Monitor.
Few days before I got a warning that one (RL) was low. It was a bit low so I put air all round then the warning went off...
This error comes up on my 2011 LR4 "pressure increases too slowly when filling reservoir. Algorithm based failure. Signal plausible failure"
Wondering if this is also the compressor. This normally happens when I change the height but recently it was after just sitting for a few days in the cold...
Its a 2011, maybe a stock battery. But the truck will not start, lights dim when I hit the start button.
It started yesterday (its was 16 F) I did not have any warning lights.
I have the stock carpet mats in the 2011 LR4.
Anyone got experience with rubber mats. We get a lot of snow and frozen slush up here in Minnesota.
Got a line on any good deals?
Cheers
