    Couple issues

It is most likely a bad sensor. You will need to get it replaced. When you were in a different Terrain Response mode did you also happen to be in offroad height? If in offroad height and turning from a stop and feeling a vibration could be indications of a bad CV joint. Something an...

    Good bye brake dust!

I agree that the twin turbo 6 is an amazing engine. My 335 sings to me every morning when I fire it up. Back on topic, this is good news about Akebono. I had their pads on the TL I used to own and loved em.

    Magnaflow Exhaust Design Concepts

Well looking at the pics, this pretty much is cat back. It looks like the x-over pipe forward of the muffler may be new but definately from muffler back is all new. Not sure if they could do a user installed bolt in install. I haven't looked THAT closely at mine to see if everything is bolted...

    Wheelin' in the TSF

We had a great time. I can't get enough of TSF. It's different everytime we go. Here are our pics of the trip. http://miserable.com/gallery/v/offroading_adventures/Tillamook_Aug08/

    A differant LR3 ignition problem

possibly the adjustment between the shift linkage and the ignition key lockout needs to be tweaked?

    Magnaflow Exhaust Design Concepts

This looks nice as the LR3 could definitely use a boost in power but for me two things need to happen.... Better routing to avoid all of the dings and hits that the exhaust takes. A real dyno test. Butt dyno is great for some people but I want to see numbers.

    cooper LTZ owners

Houm, When you accelerate in reverse the front suspension squats down and that's why your front tires rub more going backwards. It's just the opposite of going forward and the rear end squatting.

New to LR3s, but not Land Rover! a few Q's...

I believe the light is triggered by the low pad sensors that are located on the calipers. Typically these are replaced when you do a brake job. As for the job itself, based upon talk on this board and others, it is fairly easy. I know I'll be doing it myself with a full EBC kit once I wear...

    Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Hog's Back sounds familiar but honestly I'm not sure where all we went. Brent was our navigator for the group so we just followed him. I believe Rob has the map that outlines where we went. Oh, I'm definitely game for another trip to Tillamook.

    LR3 V6 vs. V8?

I believe the window sticker stated the V6 as getting 1 mpg better then the V8. IMO definitely not worth the loss in power.

    Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Yeah Tillamook State Forest is where we went. The trip was effing awesome! Lots of tight threading through trees, over rocks, etc. Even a nice cruise under a fallen cedar. Yeah, I'm running the Zeons and they were great. I never even aired them down. Lots of traction in the mud and...

    Satisfaction Guaranteed!

One thing I noticed about snow during my outing last weekend with Cascade Rovers was that turning off DSC makes a very positive difference while traversing deep snow. Oh, and I had to tug out the Range Rover that was with us. He got in the snow a little too deep and couldn't get out.

At what gas price will you sell your LR3?

My findings are slightly different. I've found that the sweet spot for us here in the Pacific Northwest is 65mph for best mileage. Up to 70 is slightly lower (.2 mpg or so) and after 70 it starts falling off quickly. 75mph drops us almost 2 mpg. We were off-roading yesterday in the Tillamook...

    Tire selections 19"

I agree with richpike. It is most likely your tires. The OE Goodyears are just crap. We replaced ours at 15k miles because they were getting really noisy. We put on Michelin Synchrones. Much better tire.

more tire talk, looking for post purchase results

Why not just run the 18's with the Coopers year round? I think I may have finally got my wife convinced to do just that. We have OEM 19" rims with Michelin Synchrones and to be honest the difference in road noise between those and the Coopers is very minimal. The ride on the Coopers is...

I would be concerned about using aftermarket rims unless they have the same physical dimensions as the OE ones. I think you will definately run into rubbing with the Coopers on any rims that are not the same dimensions as the OE ones.

Yes, I have the OEM mudflaps, front and rear. Why?

The coopers are 1.5 inches taller but I have not had them rub at all. And they are definately a smoother and quieter ride the the stock goodyears.

I have and can find no rubbing on mine.

I have a set of the Cooper Zeon LTZ's and love em. I get an extra .75" ground clearance, have had no rubbing issues so far, and they ride nice both on and off the pavement. I've heard the grabbers are nice, as others here have pointed out and the BFG's of course are very popular but it's my...
