My brother and I have a very healthy sibling-rivalry. He bought an H2 a few months ago and has been talking a lot of smack ever since, although he's been awfully cowardly about going out on a trail run of any kind.

We recently went out camping and there were some trails around our site with some deep snow-pack. Well...let's just say I got to break in my new recovery strap! It was quite humbling for him and a feather in the LR3's cap.

Also, those Coopers are unbelievable!

One thing I noticed about snow during my outing last weekend with Cascade Rovers was that turning off DSC makes a very positive difference while traversing deep snow.

Oh, and I had to tug out the Range Rover that was with us. He got in the snow a little too deep and couldn't get out.

tommity...how was that trip? You guys did the TSF, right? I was upset that I couldn't join you guys, but as you could see I had my hands full in the Deschutes National Forest. You run Zeons, too, right? How'd they do at Brown's Camp? Any pics?

Yeah Tillamook State Forest is where we went.

The trip was effing awesome! Lots of tight threading through trees, over rocks, etc. Even a nice cruise under a fallen cedar.

Yeah, I'm running the Zeons and they were great. I never even aired them down. Lots of traction in the mud and over rocks, etc.

Some of the pics can be viewed here.
