Reputation for quiet - Not seeing it or rather....hearing it
I had a serpentine belt tensioner issue that only made noise when I pushed on the accelerator (when I was moving or stopped). Have them check that, it only takes a few seconds. -

Steering wheel shudder during high spd braking
I am experiencing some steering wheel vibration during high speed braking (from 65 or 70 mph). I am assuming rotors. I am at almost 80k miles and I had the first set replaced about 40k, if I remember correctly. Any other possibilities I should look for? -

Warning lights and water
Oddly enough, the same two symptoms happened to me after an aggressive automated car wash managed to put water in my 2005 LR3. Poured into the passenger compartment from the bottom right of the center console. The suspension light was just brief; and briefly went on again when I hit a puddle... -

I just had water come in from the OPPOSITE side of the passenger compartment. I went through a car wash w/the AC/HEAT on OFF and water poured in the passenger well from the right side of the stereo area. Weird. What drains are there--or did water come in through the air intakes at the windscreen? -

Tent question
Thanks for the info. Mine came without a "sleeve"--which is why I was asking. I guess the "sleeve" is the extension part that I have to buy separately from the tent. I intend to use the "day tent" at night as a means to get air, but fewer bugs, into the cabin, in which my kids will sleep... -

Does anyone know how the LR accessory tent "attaches" to the LR3? And, how does the "extension tent" figure into that attachment process? -

Reporting back--have had the Pirelli ATRs for a couple weeks. Excellent handling in rain and on dry pavement. Very quiet. Can't wait to see them in other conditions--will be going to the Rockies later this year. Internet reviews suggest that they will last much longer than the other... -

Front Control Arm Catastrophic Failure
I just had my 05 LR3 in for the 67,500 mi service and they called my wife and said "we think you will like the ride better if we replace all your tie rods...." So we did. Hmmm. -

I just got Pirelli ATRs put on my 2005 SE7 today. I'll try to write back in a few weeks with my thoughts. Previously I had the Goodyears, which are terrible. And, I had the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros, which were great but wore out too fast. -
