Miserably failed cross axle obstacle (need off road help)
Much of the above, especially the DSC, but just give a bit more gas. The car needs to fully reallize traction is limited before it starts implimenting the traction program. Some slippage and then off won't do it. If the car feels committed, it will go. -

What size winch??
I always though the General Rule was GVWR X 1.5. Figuring you are moving vehicle weight + moving through whatever has you stuck. Bigger winch may = more draw, but if the power is there, the interval is shorter, and less overall load. 9000 My $.02 -

Can the LR3 be towed by an RV?
Nope. LR3 has no neutral position in the transfer box. There is no way to seperate the drivetrain from the rolling components. You could disconnects the driveshafts I suppose but from what I hear, that's not to cool either for extended travel. Being towed just wasn't in then design... -
