Funny Thing! ,
The chrome was incorrectly ordered under number RRB500040 was shipped through LR dealership in Va. Beach Virginia!
And the verdict is they are BLACK!!!
List price: $145.20 and I got them for under $100.00:biggrin:

RRB500040 is listed for 03-05 Range Rover, which used a straight shank lug instead of a tapered seat. Difference is shown on this page: http://www.rangerovers.net/outfitting/tires/mkiiitires.html toward the bottom on the right. Range Rover kept the straight shank untill 2006, when they switched to the tapered seat that LR3 has used all along. LR3 originally had black lugs (tapered) untill mid 2005 when they switched over to chrome. There has never been a 'correct' locking lug for black lug nut vehicles.
Will they work? probably. Just wanted to throw out the FYI.

Hey Land Crzy, I'm from VB. I'm not surprised Phillips screwed that one up. My car has been in there for 2 weeks now trying to get the steering right. Congrats if you made out haha.
