never put antiseize on the lugnuts,
they dont seat fully and can walk off,
we are required to clean the hubs and put antiseize on the hubs and the clean the rims of the rust so they dont seize on their.
those water leaks are so preventable.
all you have to do is to pull off the passenger side intake cover, and the rubber underneath it and the big sponge,
cut the star shaped hose and blow it out and pour water down it.
cut a small channel in the sponge and half your problems are solved...
please tell me you didnt have a 0734,0733 code in the computer.
that is a fourth gear and fifth gear monitoring code.
it actually is caused by a bad maf sensor.
you can tell because the ECM has a lean code or even a rich code in it.
we rarely rarely replace transmissions in the older...
I suspect a bad MAF sensor, but I will need to know what country it was designated for to look up pertinent info.
although I cant get back that far on a GTR but I could substitute depending.
do you know how to offroad or do you think that adding height will automatically give you the knowledge to offoroad.
cause a standard land rover discovery can do alot more then you think.
if I were you I would spend the money on diff guards and front plate guards and off road tires and...
cross drilled and drilled rotors are the biggest pieces of shit to ever put on a rover.
they are designed for cars that dont get wet.
not for trucks that get dirty.
otherwise they rust up in the vents and pulsate that crazy. happens all the time.
dont bother unless you get a the fuel filter kit.
they rust on really bad.
it includes new hoses located on the passenger rear just above the tire on the frame rail.
you have a short to either the bcu or the cluster itself.
pull the cluster out and check for any issues.
and get rid of the damn cut off switch.
dont ever mess around with RR electronics. either wise you are replacing the bcu.
and paying a hefty towing bill and twenty five hundred...
hi there rover tech, first check the grounds underneath the battery, and then check the starter connection to see if it is tight.
if all is good then put a new ignition switch in.
all in all should take less then a half an hour to check everything and replace the switch.
judging from some of the info you gave me, I suspect an issue with the fuse box behind the passenger side glove box.
was the floor wet when you bought it.
cause I suspect the drains on the sunroof were clogged or the leak in a pillar panel on the passenger side causing a leak onto the fuse...
wow thats a really nice wallet flush.
go stick it to the dumbass service advisor and ask him why he is recommending a brake flush when its included in your maintenance at 45k, in fact ask his boss why he is upselling something that isnt recommended until 45k
and only do an injection...
got a digital comera, take a picture of the following, the front of the engine, the radiator,
the driver side at the back and send them too me.
I can tell slow leaks pretty easy.
its in crash mode. what I suspect is that the system is losing a few signals on the can bus network and causing a system crash. need to have it checked by the dealer so they can spot the source of the problem.
you didnt wash the engine down with water while it wasnt running did you?
if it is running high, trying cleaning the throttle body itself first.
and no cap on this vehicle.
pull off the air intake hose to the tb and open it up and clean it off with carbon clean.
if no code on the dash dont bother with anything else.
and fuel pumps dont go on those. they...
the issue occurs when the ebrake is not adjusted correctly after installation of brake rotors.
had a recall for the 08s. they burned up in ten miles if not done.
but when new pads and rotors are installed on the rear they must be adjusted and bedded in properly. otherwise they cause...
kinda in the middle. the stuff just pulls out and you can see the whole wirring harness.
make sure to take the intake cover off and pull the rubber piece out and the sponge to access to the drain tube on the sunroof. then cut it off a bit and blow some air into it.
look in the wheel welll, there is a little panel and by removing the panel you can access the lite.
oh wait thats for the blinker.
the bulb themselves have a cover accessible behind them.
actually the lites goe out by themselves unless you screwed something else. usually turn the key to position one and wait a minute.
and we dont turn rotrors we replace.
