Looking to change the fuel filter in my 96 Disco..
Workshop manual indicates I Need to depressurize the system by removing the fuel pump relays..
Problem is I can't seem to locate them..
Are they mixed in with the other relays behind the kick plate on the passenger side of the vehicle..
If not where can I find them ... and what will identify them as going to the fuel pump...

Thanks
Neill.,

dont bother unless you get a the fuel filter kit.

they rust on really bad.

it includes new hoses located on the passenger rear just above the tire on the frame rail.

You can also just use a rag and depressurize the fuel system at the fuel rail via the shradder valve.

depressurized by fuel rail and cup. Replaced my fuel filter by only removing old filter and putting new one on. There is a tire pressure valve push it in and release the pressure. Make sure engine is cool before you do it and try not to spill the gas on the exhaust manifold. That is where the cup or rag comes in handy

Can you be more specific as to where to find the valve? I think I'll go with that route..
Who much fuel can I expect to loose during this process? (the entire change out if the hoses aren't clamped?)

Thanks,
Neill

Time to fire the old fella up and hope I don't burst into a ball of Flame....

Neill
