I just purchase a 93 Land Rover Discovery and do not have an owners manual. Therefore, the first question is what is the yellow triangular light with an explanation point located in the center of the drivers dash?
I am having the following problem and the only service shop in Southern Costa Rica is going bald from trying to solve the problem.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
At low speeds I notice a total loss of throttle response, smell gasoline, then the yellow light flicker on and off, then the car quits. It will restart after a short wait.
At high speeds the same thing occurs, but the car usually acts like the coil wire was pulled, then restarts immediately (due to the speed and the engine turning over).
The following repairs have been tried and failed to correct the problem.
New Coil
New fuel pump
Checked fuel pickup in tank
Replaced fuel filter
R&R fuel injection system
Rebuilt/cleaned injectors
Replaced Vacuum hoses under the hood
This is NOT a US model, so where can I find the monitor showing any error codes? I had read it was under the passengers seat, but no such luck.
Guess the Range Rover is in for double duty until someone points me in the right direction
