Location of used t-case amd transmission
Need some help guys of where to locate used t-case , and a transmission... I have a 98 disco, 4 speed.... Not sure which one I will need , its at the shop right now , should know what problem is with mine soon... Just want to be ahead of the game on where to locate either or.. thanks guys..- richterjustin08

Transmission Temperature Problem
By the way , I went ahead and replace all spark plug wires , they were under warrenty and I replaced fuse, which gave me my spark back that I had lost... Should I still replace the crank sensor?- richterjustin08

Transmission Temperature Problem
The not starting issue I found out the fuse on the inside was blown .. the one for the motor spark, and one of the spark plug wires had been shorter out, it had touched the header, and burned, so I think that's what made the fuse blow.... As in the transmission, color is red , but unknown...- richterjustin08

Transmission Temperature Problem
I have a 98 disco, millage is unknown, but I have reconcile the while top end of the motor... Just to be short about the motor. The temperature sensor for the tranny has came on twice, today was the second time, as I pulled into town from a road trip , I was driving 70-75 and the temp sensor...- richterjustin08

Major issue
It Justin again guys.... Have 98 years model.. complete top end of motor redone... I was having brake problems few months ago.. the abs would kick in and start to slow the vehicle down. So I was told buy some guys to just pull the fuses for the abs.. I did that , things have been ok, bit lately...- richterjustin08

Oil light flickering
I have a 98 disco, body has 178859, motor millage is unknowingly. But have already done a complete head job, with all upper end gaskets replaced... What shes doing is when I'm at a light, the oil light comes on while idleing , but she flickeres... As soon as I tale off or accelerate, the light...- richterjustin08

My main thing that I want to accomplish with this truck, is when I need to pull to have the torque and the power to do it.. the most I will be pulling is a double axle trailer with a 29' foot boat.... So what your saying is not to get a bigger cam, just replace my lifters?? This is my everday...- richterjustin08

Sqeaking problem trans or driveshaft
Update on this post gentlemen, the front driveshaft the rear u joint, was literally gone and batelly holding in, it was shaving metal off.. so problem fixed... Will replace other three but at 28 a pop Ouch, also having to replace rear seal on rear driveshaft ... What's the best gear lube to use...- richterjustin08

Like it thanks joey, oh and I checked out that d& d website , cam, lifters sprocket , timing chain all for 600 don't have to change anything when installed.- richterjustin08

Transmission question
Mine is a 98 disco, upper end of motor has been refine cause had to do a head gasket job. The question I have is when I take off from a complete stop the transmission goes throught the gears.. its an automatic by the way... Shifter is in D so it goes thru the gears and it seems like the last...- richterjustin08
