Are these two options available with the Gap tool?
Read the #4 post of this thread. I posted a device called, "Video in Motion" that does just that. It unlocks ALL DVD and Navigation functions while in motion. There's a secret screen that does it too. -

NGK vs Bosch Ignition coils
I wouldn't do it. I like NGK, but I like Denso more. I've run both over 30 years in many applications. NGK because it's a little cheaper, but Denso lasts longer and burns cleaner IMO. There's a n-i-p-p-l-e on the front crossover pipe that is already open. On the V8 there's a cap on the n-i-p-p-l-e at the y-pipe. I'm sure there's something similar for the newer LR4s. Timing parts purchased are quite different
scv6 and v8 are the same motor with the same internals, the scv6 just has 2 blanked cylinders. The timing chain tensioners, guides, and chains are all the same. As far as ET or offset goes, the difference between ET44 and ET27 is 17mm or 0.66", which means that it'll protrude outwards 17mm or 0.66". Oh, I would also like to add that you should mark the position of the chuck on the crank pulley. It'll save you down the road from trying to find the position later.
