Recommended Indy shop in San Diego
Can anyone recommend a reputable Indy in San Diego. My EPB just went out and I really don’t fancy doing the job myself. Most videos show how to fix it on an LR3, but access on the LR4 is much more limited. Thanks!- John Higgins

LR4 Valve Cover Gasket Replacement?
I can't help with the DIY piece but just wanted to add that my local dealer (San Diego area) wants $4000 to do both left and right gaskets (5.0 V8 in my 2011). Is my starter about to die? (280A draw)
Just to circle back in this one. I replaced the battery, reset the BMS and everything appears to be hunky dory. At some stage I will have the local parts guy check the starter draw again but for now everything appears to be okay.- John Higgins

Thanks for that. Ya - I've watched a few of those lads videos. Very useful. In the case of DRL; it seems like they were in the process of upgrading their lights to xenons. I recently bought an IIDTool for my 2011 LR4 and was hoping to enable a couple of features. Namely; "mirror dip on reverse" and DRL. Is my starter about to die? (280A draw)
I've been getting "low battery warning" on the dash for the past couple of days so I've been hooking it up to a trickle charger overnight for the past 2 nights. Battery is reading just under 12.2V with the engine off and is < 18 months old. Lots of short trips (school runs, grocery store etc.)...- John Higgins
