Interesting ok. The purge valve is barely a year old, LR part. Doesn’t mean it isn’t bad though. Interesting that you guys are saying air coming out. I’m away for the weekend but I can start chasing this stuff down Monday after work. I’ll start with that purge valve and the line. -

apparently the voltage discrepancy is a bug in the ECU, GAP says to ignore it. Idle and accelerating after resetting the codes on my way home. Seems normal? -

Been tracking a nagging CEL and intermittent rough running. Cleaned the MAF sensors, seemed fine. Truck was very hard to start a few weeks ago, got a MAF code. Cleared up after running for a minute or two, cleaned MAFs again, seemed fine. Since I bought the truck it has had this weird issue... -

The numbers I found were US-only. I’m sure there are a lot more globally. There are months (a single month, multiple times) where Jeep moves almost as many Wranglers as V8 LR4s were sold in four years. -

Yea, you're going to need a different one. The 10-12 audio system is different. IIRC the aux port is in the glove box, so thats easier to wire. -

10 years or 150k according to the service intervals from JLR that I've seen. IIRC ZF recommends 6yrs/60k miles. -

That sounds like oil change intervals to me, maybe they wrote that in instead of "reset service engine light" or something. And if that was oil change intervals... yikes. -

how far is all the way? My truck rarely fills up passed 7/8s or 9/10s. When I had fueling issues I literally could not get ANY fuel in without it pouring back out. -

LR4 as a College Car.
The salt kills everything here. My truck came from Colorado and it gets sprayed with fluidfilm twice a year. Once before winter, once before summer for beach season. It's my first rust-free car and I plan on keeping it that way. -

Have you had the fuel pump recall done? That can trigger the EVAP code as well. -

I use pennzoil ultra platinum 5w20. Through tests on the interweb and my own oil analysis results on two different trucks it seems to be the “best” for me. I’m doing 6-6500 mile intervals on this thing. -

Yea man. My CEL lights up every 2-3 weeks for the purge valve. Then it goes away in 2 days. I leave it alone. Just fix **** when it’s broken, and do fluid changes. That’s all.
