HDC Fault, Engine Fault, Special Programs Not Available, EPB Fault, and more HELP!

Well the problem is solved. We had our brakes and rotors changed out in October of last year, and the shop that did it put the calipers on incorrectly. This caused the brake line to dislodge and the ABS Sensor to float around until the wheel finally rubbed through it. Total cost for repair...

HDC Fault, Engine Fault, Special Programs Not Available, EPB Fault, and more HELP!

The battery appears to be fine meaning there is zero corrosion, but I have not gotten it tested yet. I've been told that the battery could test fine, but be low enough to throw the errors still. Do you guys know if there is any truth to that? It looks like that is what I will have to do...

HDC Fault, Engine Fault, Special Programs Not Available, EPB Fault, and more HELP!

I have not replaced the brake lights/bulbs, but did replace the back up lights about a month ago. I couldn't get the the web site posted, but I found a brake light switch for $12.95 that I'm going to go ahead and order. Hopefully, that will fix the problem. As far as driving with the...

HDC Fault, Engine Fault, Special Programs Not Available, EPB Fault, and more HELP!

Sorry I guess the year model would have been helpful. It is an 05 and I'm not sure how old the battery is. We purchased the vehicle in March of 2010, and we have not put a new battery in. We've never had any problems with it though ie dead battery, jump starting, etc.

HDC Fault, Engine Fault, Special Programs Not Available, EPB Fault, and more HELP!

I did a search, but had no luck. Maybe it's due to the panic I'm feeling. lol About 3 months ago the sound on our stereo went out, but since it was more of a luxury on the vehicle we just left it alone. Rarely we will get a message saying that cruise control is not available, but it wasn't...

    7,000 Mile Oil Change?

Recently we received a coupon for a free oil change from our local Land Rover dealership, and we set up an appointment to get it done. I was shocked to see the coupon because we have never done anything at any Land Rover dealership, and for $120 for an oil change I probably never will. Once...

    After-market GPS

Thanks! The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm thinking portable will be the way to go. My pocket won't take near as much of a hit and it may be nice to be able to move it around some. Thanks

    After-market GPS

Well the 2005 LR3 we have doesn't have a factory GPS and I'm considering picking one up before we make our move to California. I want one that will fit in the area the factory navigation is installed without being an eyesore , but I don't want to replace my head unit. Is this just wishful...

    Faded exterior trim

Well the title kinda says it all. We are currently in Florida and the plastic trim around the exterior (fenders, bumpers, handles, etc) is faded pretty bad. So far I've been told about 3 products Black WOW, Forever Black, and Showroom New. Has anyone tried any of these products or other and...

    Aux Input?

I ordered one of these on Friday and I received it today. It couldn't be easier to set up and it was surprisingly easy to hide. Best of all it worked exactly as described. I could tell a huge difference in the volume level and the quality of sound. If I felt more comfortable opening up the...

    Suspension Lowering Issues

Thank for the suggestions. Personally I felt it could be something as easy as the switch as well. Forgive my ignorance but what is LRRF?

    Suspension Lowering Issues

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I did a search for it and couldn't find anything. Our LR3 will raise to off road height without issue and when driving if I go above 30 mph it will lower to normal ride height. However, when I hit the switch to lower the height from off road to...

    The FNG

Hey everyone, I'm new to the board, new to Land Rover, and new to off roading period. We are very excited about this new adventure lol. It looks like everything on it is stock down to it having the original tires. So now I'm on a mission to find ways to make it ours so to speak. Currently...

    Noob with emblem question

Thanks! I'm planning on doing this either this weekend or the next. I'll put up some pictures when I'm done. I have to say I have not been this excited about a vehicle since I got my first motorcycle. Just wish I knew of some good trails around here to play around on. Sadly I think there...

    Noob with emblem question

Hello Everyone, We purchased a 05 LR3 SE a couple days ago and the emblems on the back are discolored. I was wondering if anyone here has taken them off before and if so do these emblems have posts that will leave a holes in the tailgate or are the simply held on with adhesive only and I can...
