Q About Changing Shocks & Brakes
OK I changed out the ABS accumulator & she brakes much better now, plus the BRAKE warning light doesn't come on when I depress the pedal. I still get the TC & ABS lights after a while so I'm thinking it might be a sensor.- bigbris1

Range Rover Radio Wire Color Codes
I managed to secure a stock radio for my 96 Range Rover. I had to reconnect all the wires that were cut off. Does anyone have a picture of the 8 prong plug (the white one) so I can figure where the wires should go? Most of the wires are in there but a few are out of place & I can't get the...- bigbris1

Headlight Wiring
Thanks Joey, I figured this out minutes after I posted this. The connectors were in tact & I was able to just buy the bulbs & install them. The rear covers are missing tho. As fo the fogs, I'll have to rig it up a bit.- bigbris1

The PO did a butcher job on my 1996 4.0SE with the headlights & fog lights when he had HID lighting installed. I just took it all out & it looks like the connectors for the headlights & fog lights are missing. Would someone please post a link or pictures of the headlight & fog light...- bigbris1

After doing a little research I just pulled the trigger on a set of Pro Comp ES9000 shocks. I got a great deal at $129 for all 4 from 4wheelonline.com. I'm sure this will tighten her back up. As far as the ABS/TC/BRAKE lights, I noticed just now that the ABS kicks in at low braking. I...- bigbris1

Someone on another forum said this can't be bad shocks. The reason I first suspected the shocks was that on other cars (I have owned 10 other cars) when one shock blows or goes dead the uneven dampening is evident especially on even dips in the road. The Rangie has 120K on the clock. I have no idea of service history. All I know is everything that was wrong with the 4.6 is good on the 4.0 & vice versa.- bigbris1

I got a CEL & diagnosed & found it is sensor 2 bank 1. Once I change it will I have to get the CEL reset or will it go out after I drive 100 miles? BTW, I found a Bosch replacement O2 sensor at www.racepages.com for $77 shipped.- bigbris1

Body change from 1998 to 2000?
IIRC the only body changes between those years were the clear/smoked ambers, smoked headlamp surrounds & a painted front bumper & side mirrors. More significantly, the engine changed to the Bosch/BMW & it had dual exhaust & only 2 O2 sensors. http://www.rangerovers.net/modelspecs/index.html- bigbris1
